    Suki has been running art classes for nearly five years and loves seeing the students progress through their art journey. Full of positive energy and ideas, she always goes the extra mile to ensure everyone is happy as part of her creative family. 

    Favourite things - organising events, fundraising, the colour red, and travelling!

  • Mandy, talented tutor at Art for Life Sutton Coldfield

    Mandy

    Tutor

    Mandy is a printmaker and teacher.  Having taught in schools and nurseries for 22 years, she absolutely loves the contrast of working with adults! 

    Well aware of the therapeutic qualities of any creative activity, Mandy believes that making art should also be fun and just loves to help students on their way to achieving their own personal goals.

    Favourite things: lino printing, the colour green, a good book and cream teas!

  • Parwy, talented art tutor at Art For life Sutton Coldfield

    Parwy

    Tutor

    Parwy is a teacher and experimental artist with a background in fine art and English literature. With over a decade of experience in teaching primary art, she brings a unique perspective, challenging herself and others to explore dynamic forms of expression.

    She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where adults can explore creativity, find joy in the artistic process and develop their own unique artistic voices in a welcoming and experimental space.

    Things she loves: The colour teal, cups of tea, visiting National Trust sites to explore history and reading literary classics. 

  • Palv

    Tutor

    Palv is an experienced and passionate teacher and Artist. She studied A levels in Art & Design and Textiles ( Fabric printing ) and has a degree in Glass and Ceramics. Palv enjoys  experimenting and exploring a wide range of art techniques. 

    She loves teaching art to all ages and abilities and finds it rewarding in guiding both children and adults on their creative journey. She hopes that with a supportive approach, she can help students explore their imagination, discover new techniques, and build confidence in their artistic abilities. She is keen to create an environment where every student can feel inspired to explore their imagination and have the opportunity to develop different art skills. 

    Favourite things - Arts and crafts, visiting Art galleries and seeing exhibitions, walking and travelling. Favourite colour red and teal.

We’d love to offer our courses and workshops to more people, so we’re always looking to grow our team of passionate artists and engaging communicators.

  • Are you an artist who would like to spend some of your time sharing your knowledge and skills with others? You could join our team of freelance tutors, teaching on our courses and creating interesting projects for our students to do.

  • Perhaps you’re a school teacher or home-schooler who would like to experience the joy of teaching adults occasionally! You could be a guest tutor at our workshops or art evenings.

  • Do you have brilliant communication and admin skills? You could help support the tutors and students with your amazingness!

  • Are you already running an art class but would like to be part of a creative business where friendship, kindness and fun are the key priorities? You’ll be supported, listened to and cared for in our Emporium of Loveliness!
